Christmas in July

Whipping up 8 more log cabin blocks didn't take long, by lunchtime I was ready to web all the blocks together.  I think this one needs a red border, followed by a green border --  somewhat wide to tone down all the wonkiness.  The blocks are 8 inches finished, so far that makes this guy about 48 by 64.  Not exactly huge, but with borders it will be big enough to snuggle under.
Best of all -- another empty project tub.  There are still a few leftovers of the leftovers to deal with, but this tub is toast.

As Dora says.....'excellente!'

A big whoo-hoo going out to you! And yes, some borders nesting with each other will finish it nicely for an adequate-for-snuggling quilt :D

Very Pretty, not at all moldy or and oldie, your idea for the borders sounds perfect, glad you are enjoying your summer and getting some quilting done!

This will be really warm and cosy for Christmas. I'm trying to empty some boxes of bits this summer too, though I've not managed to get very far yet.

You did a great job - the way you have the red and green laid out reminds me of Christmas ornaments.

I really like this! I learned a new term today to "web up", what does that mean please?
